Recruiter enablement is a an emerging discipline within talent acquisition and the purpose of this website and, in particular, the video section, is to inform and inspire by creating a greater awareness of its usefulness and the benefits it brings to recruiters, hiring managers and candidates.
The overall goal is to provide recruiters with all the resources they need to win for the organisation at every phase of the recruitment journey, from first-stage outreach to talent pipelining, onboarding and internal mobility. Recruiter enablement is inspired by state-of-the-art sales & marketing, underpinned by the processes, content and tools talent acquisition teams deploy to ensure they are as productive and successful as possible,
Largely focused on content management and content production, recruiter enablement includes template libraries for job adverts, outreach messaging, social media posts, email sequences, crib sheets and more. It allows recruitment marketers to supercharge recruiters for continuous performance improvement with engaging, 'on brand' content that is constantly monitored and evaluated by data analytics.
Recruiter enablement can also include many other tools typically scattered across Chrome extensions, SharePoint, Drive folders, bookmarks, Excel lists and elsewhere. Examples include sourcing tools, Boolean string builders, talent intelligence, brand guidelines, recruiter learning and many more.
Who is responsible for recruiter enablement?
The talent acquisition leader is responsible for crafting the optimal team structure, creating the right processes and acquiring the technology to best enable recruiters for success. Recruitment marketers, recruitment operations teams and others will play important parts in the roll-out of effective recruiter enablement.
